Background
 First really started taking music serious when I was listening to early Bolan and Slade when I was still at school - then with not much warning, the punk scene exploded and I was hooked!!!
I was involved in the Punk Scene and went all around the U.K following the bands. I first started playing Bass when I was at school and was a member of a band at an early age - 15 and still at school to be exact.
This was causing problems at school - gigging in clubs on a Sunday night and at school on a Monday never looked good with my headmaster, but with the backing of my parents - it never caused a problem.
I have been in bands before The Clashed and all playing Bass. I served my time in club bands and although I will get stick for this - its good grounding and keeps ye active - I have never regreted it!! (Honsestly)
I played Bass for bands like The Outfitz, Under Wraps, The Signs, Ressurection and Domain.
Domain being the main band that had the most success - we reached the Semi Final of Battle of the Bands and although we did not win it, we did actually get an album realeased and I am still proud of it today.

Influences
My main influences were the early punk bands and especially The Sex Pistols of which I have to mention Sid.
I listened to a lot of punk bands then and still do and I think that this era in my life spurred me on to playing the Bass with more vigour and wanting.
I have a large Jazz CD collection and although the lads in The Clashed will slate me for saying this, I really do think that Jazz musicians are the best in the world and I certainly do look up to some of the great Bass players like Jaco Pastorious, Earl Greco and Jeff Berlin.

Interests
I love Music, and Football and follow Middlesbrough FC just like the other band members.
I do a lot of walking and climbing in the lakes and try and get onto the moors at the first opportunity - I have loads of interests actually, but wont go into it as it looks like I am trying to fill this page about myself when the rest of the lads have put very little - so I will go with the flow and end this one here!!!!!!!

Equipment
 I use a blue Fender Jazz 1984 Bass and a white Fender Precision 1992 Bass.
I also have a Trace Elliot Combo and I am currently in line for a new amp which will again be a Trace Elliot - but not sure yet what size or type.
